great game, loved the artstyle and aesthetic, It had issues but considering it was made in just 30 hours it was great. Keep up the good work. I hope the survey wasn't serious cause I gave a dumb and funny response, not really but just dumb i guess.

Thanks so much for making this game Warkus. The story was different from other horror games IĀ“ve played and quite interesting that you added the survey at the end of the game. Sadly I missed a lot of the notes and couldnĀ“t find the secret message while playing and recording my video. One thing that was an issue for me was the audio when the jumpscare happened, which was a bummer because I got distracted by the sound and not scared by it. The sound on the recording was very interesting, I wonder if it was a heart beating mixed with something else??

Quite the spooky game. Maybe tune down the jumpscare volume a bit.

Hey thanks for playing and sorry about the volume :D

I really liked the game, although the sounds of the game did nothing to me. I don't know if the research questions were serious or not.

Thanks ;)

Cool game. Would be interesting to see more rooms in the house.

Thank you :)

Man, you got me with your jumpscares. The first one was nicer executed then the later one. I enjoy the art style you are going for here.

An overall pretty impressive and solid game you produced here and that just in 30 hours! Congratulations! I would recommend this game to everybody.

very good game. I love it! and ending was crazy. i hope to see more from you in the future :)

btw if you are interested, here is video of your game:

This was a good and very loud game. My ears have been destroyed but it was worth it.

i enjoy it very much

pls subscribe

I feel like it was not that scary{Atleas for me} But I Like It!

This game gave me a FNAF feel, in it's own unique way. I can't really attack of course, and the player is basically just waiting to see what happens next. I love it! Lol, it makes it more dreadful all together, and it's all just well executed. This was a pretty cool short horror game!

Thanks for playing my game! :)

Pros and cons are down below) Check out my vid here (the game is the 1st there, likes and subs are highly appreciated)):

Advantages:

1. The idea is very cool! I really enjoyed how immersive it was, the secret notes here and there, and the existing survey at the end! That was awesome! Also, I liked that there are some pieces of lore that can be missed

2. The game managed to scare me. Even though the game used cheap jumpscares, it also created very strong suspense and tension, which made the jumpscares more effective. So, I really enjoyed the horror aspect of this game.

Disadvantages:

1. Well, as I've already mentioned the jumpscares were pretty cheap. The last one was hanging on the screen for way too long that it managed to become annoying for me. Didn't really like that. BUT I mention again that this is NOT the only horror element of the game, so that's not a big disadvantage.

2. The ending (assuming there is only one ending, Idk really) is predictable and, thus, a bit anticlimactic.

Overall:

I think the game deserves the highest rating! 5/5 (it's a pity I can't rate this on the jam as I don't have my own submission, I would love to help out!)) It broke the 4th wall a bit and though the ending was a bit disappointing, the game was original in many other ways. Great job! Can't wait for more games from you!)

Hope my feedback was useful!

*Played the other game Thy Flesh a while ago and wanted to say that this (ghost study) game is so much better! You are growing as the developer (or developers) and that's awesome!) Can't wait for more)

Thank you so much for this in-depth feedback. It's really helpful too see which aspects you liked / disliked. I also like to think that this game is really a step up from my last game. I'll try to make the next one even better :) Thanks again!

Was a super great game and I actually got really jump scared whenever there was one that popped up! The minimal atmosphere was dense packed with spookiness and the story was really well done! The ending was a good tie up to the beginning of the game, and a really cool concept. Only wish it lasted longer!

very nice game :3

Thanks for playing my game :)

you're welcome ^-^

Good game, I download to try

Thanks :)

So CREEPY! So much FUN! I NEED more! Haha. What's the deal with the notes tho? Are you going to do more stuff like this one?

Thanks for playing! Glad that you enjoyed it. Regarding the notes: I've added a hint section in the description of the game above. And yeah, I will definitely make more games like this, so stay tuned! :)

This was really cool! I loved that the whole game took place in that one confined space, and the events that happened were very well paced and super creepy. I had a great time playing this!

Be careful

Thanks for playing!

This was such a cool idea! The constant rumble of the low-frequency was really effective!! I only got half the notes while I was recording but you've got me intrigued now...

Thanks! :)

That was great!

Very cool how the notes branched into real world concepts.

Thanks! :)

Cool short story & cool that it's made in godot!

Thank you for playing :D

An interesting game. Loved the atmosphere.

Thanks for playing :)

Awesome game. Got me a few times. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for playing! :)

Great game! Found all the notes and looked into the three cases. Really struggling to find the pastebin password though. Any clues?

Wow, thank you so much for playing! Glad that you enjoy my game. There are 6 notes in the game. Find all the notes and you will receive the password at the end of the game. All of the notes will spawn at certain scenes of the game and will disappear if you progress further without reading them. They are all pretty visible and nothing really crazy is required to find them. If you really can't find a specific note, feel free to DM me on Twitter or Discord as I don't want to get into spoiler territory here in the comments :)

Ah yeah! Doh! Found it. Thanks for the heads up. It's an excellent little game. Very creepy!

Congrats! Thank you for the kind words. Glad that you enjoyed it! :)

This is a very good story line for the game i really enjoyed it, i love the game-play and the graphics and the style of the game it puts it all together i really recommend playing this!

Thank you for playing my game and for the nice comment :) I'm glad you liked the story line and all that :)

any password hint? is it a number? is it all lower case, does it have spaces? one word? not a word at all?

One note is completely unfindable after replaying 3 times...

do we have to do something insane like wait for 10 minutes or look at the ceiling to get it? or is it on the carpet that looks like it's full of notes? [spoilers removed]

Try to find all the notes. That will answer your questions :) And every note is just somewhere in the room at different moments of the game. There's nothing crazy required :)

may I ask which note # I'm missing? [spoilers removed]

Hey, thanks for playing! Glad that you enjoyed the game :)

Hey, can you make a 32bit version?

(+1)

I've just uploaded a 32bit version. Please let me know if it works. Thanks!

Thank you :D

You're welcome! :)

I'm not a big fan of horror games, but I thought I should give it a shot. And it was really frightening and uncomfortable to play. But that's the goal. Very good horror game for this time frame.

The idea was also very neat. Although I think a study that triggers panic attacks would not be done alone in real. At least I hope so. ;)
